  • It seems a little unfair to criticize Benetti, in this context. He is not an ex player. He has has his own strengths, as well. He has a good voice, is a pretty well rounded and intelligent young man.

Delmonico still in the game. What the hell Ricky! No worse than what you've benched Timmy for in the past.

He had no clue where the ball was. It’s different versus when a guy dogs a routine ground out.

Also great appearance by Hector Santiago.  Probably his best work of the year.

Are you guys enjoying this broadcast, as much as I am?

Konerko speaking is the equivalent of sitting around a fire and not able to stop staring. I could listen to him all day.

Yoan has got to rotate his hips when he's swinging righty.  Far too stiff from that side.

Tim Andersom got benched because he thought a line drive was caught and didnt run it out. He thought that because the ball was indeed caught.

The ump called two strikes balls and one ball a strike there on Yolmer

Konerko is also having a great game at this. He is a bit monotone, but smart.

I think paulie will be a coach soon

I can’t stand listening to the guy. Like, I literally haven’t watched a straight hour of Sox baseball in months just because of him. I’m going to have to learn how to watch full games with the mute button in a couple years.

He also isn't a comic, but unfortunately he tries to be one far too often.  He's significantly better when he does games on ESPN.

The DBacks should hire him. He could stay home and be valuable in different ways.

Yep. One of my favorite CBB announcers. Terrible for the Sox.

Still better than Farmer, who just openly hates his job so I dont know why hes still around.

Don't know if you've heard this, but he has a big house in Arizona

You don’t say...

Real nice work by the pen so far. Would be nice to get another run or two to protect them.

I read once that Konerko asked Hawk to stop talking about his house

I sometimes wonder if baseball is too boring for him. There’s too much down time so he tries too hard at comedy.

Jason Hammel is gutter trash, Paul

I take that back

Listen to the opposing team's broadcast. I really enjoy doing it because they often give a different perspective on Sox players.
