I can only imagine the meltdown if this had happened on our side of town, but wow.  As manager this IS your responsibility.  To my ears, this is worse than Manny Machado talking about not hustling at times.

Those lunch hour interviews with Bernstein/McKnight became too much. They probably crossed a line when they wanted him to care more about the Addison Russell allegations.  ?  

Not sure why he can't just do both though.

What a novel concept.

The Cubs win 95 games and tell their manager to do more managing. The White Sox lose 100, and their staff is so great, they won’t change a thing.

From the interview it sounds like he will be doing less managing and more coaching.

Maybe the new hitting and pitching coaches will suffice seeing as they have had six different one's the last three years.
