    They don't have any. They traded them all to the White Sox.

    Just trade Colome for Hoerner. He's out-hitting Madrigal by a ton in AA already.

    Great great idea. Would the Cubs do it? He is 6-foot-2, 21 years old and almost ready. Man, this would be AWESOME. Odds of it happening?

    I love how stupid media members float trades that only make sense for their favorite team.  Montgomery does zero for the Sox.  The Sox would want one of the maybe handful of useful prospects that the Cubs have, not an old in between starter/reliever.

    For what its worth (and its worth a lot), I've been burned in OOTP baseball numerous times putting montgomery in the starter role.

    The only player on the Cubs I have any use for is Baez.

    Perhaps when he's up for FA, the  next owner might be interested.
