I wish we'd bring up Mendick to see what he's got. How's his D (lol)

I’m betting tomorrow

Single for Madrigal (4 game hitting streak).

Dedelow Grand Salami.

Seriously? He just fought Amir Khan like a month ago.

No idea what that means, but I give you a lol.

You said Crawford boxes next week. I assume you meant Terence 'Bud' Crawford. 35-0 Welterweight Champ now.

Another hit for Madrigal. RBI

Eloy should be with the White Sox. I don't understand the point of rehab assignments unless a guy was out for a very long time. Who cares if it takes a few games to find his groove. It really would make no difference if he joined the MLB team after coming off the DL instead of having to play a week in AAA.

In his case, he needed it with that type of injury. 3-4 weeks out he needs to find out what it feels like the next day after standing in LF for 9 innings and running bases. If he’s back tomorrow, great, but a few days down there is ok.

I disagree, let him get his swing back, build his confidence up for a few games, then get him back up here.  I don't think there is any reason to rush anything.  In fact, I wish they were just DH-ing him, and hope they would here as well for a bit.

Robert just got robbed of a hit. Mississippi RF made a great play on the ball in right CF and collided with the CF in the process.

No can do.  Rick's got to keep Yonder's bat in the lineup at all costs.

Mendick man!

Is it a stretch to call him Merrifield-ish?

Mendick adds a double.

Good lord Mendick. RBI double. Now 3-3, HR, 3 RBIs, 2B, R

DFA Alonso, option Delmonico, call up Mendick, activate Eloy.

Cease likely done at 98 pitches.
