I do wonder if Lopez could thrive in an Opener role.  Just let him throw 98 for a few innings instead of making him pace himself.

So he didn't want to spend 600 mil on two players. Fine, I've made peace with that.

But damn it he can bring us two decent starting pitchers. 

The White Sox are the only major market team in their division.

If he can’t hack it as a starter, convert him to closer.  This will ease the pain of dealing Colome as well.

After the success Giolito has had, it’s hard to imagine they give up on Lopez as a starter.

More would have liked to see Alonso canned and Sox bring in EE but yes, Palka over Yonder
