That's a strike..?

This umpire is terrible. He’s gotten a lot of calls wrong and all have been in the Cubs’ favor

You gotta get that “F” key fixed.

  • One of those nights where losing my dad hurts even more. He would have fucking loved that game. Glad I could share it with all of you

McCann too tbh. Completely agree that it’s self-evidently an organization-wide failure, but I would be remiss not to point out that similar organizational philosophies have worked out for teams like the Astros

Houston is 4th best in the MLB in BBs per game, 2nd best in Ks per game...?

Didn’t realize they were so high in BB/game. Swing early in counts is the way they teach their hitters to work for the most part (as well as being the originators of the fly-ball revolution)

A lot of weak contact so far. Not optimistic

And they aren't batting Yonder Alonso, Rondon, Ryan Cordell, Wellington Castillo,  and all of the other completely garbage players the Sox trot out...

Not too long ago in their rebuild, they were.

Jose Rondon, but your point remains and our Rondon isn’t good enough to have his first name remembered.

Haha, go ahead and b**** about one missed call.

Idk why I put Hector lmao.  Either way the point remains comparing Houston to the Sox is silly.

That wide strike zone is killing me. Awful.

And follows it up with an immediate makeup call that was more egregiously wrong

Wow, swinging at more crap.  Low and outside.  Rondon had to lean over and reach just to miss it.

Alonso is finally being phased out, now on to the Rondon petitions.

Very bad players doing bad player things

Rondon swinging at ball 4. Just trash. Please get well soon Yoan

What are you swinging at ?

Rondon is garbage.

We have no chance if Hamels is getting that corner.

Must be nice to get an extra 3 inches off the outside corner. Not to mention our hitters swinging at ball 4

A swing like that makes you think that Rondon already made up his mind to swing before the pitch was even thrown.  What a terrible pitch to swing at.
