A 30+ NL pitcher who strikes out 6 per 9 should have been pretty obvious to our front office.

Who also throws sinkers in front of a terrible defense

he was a major factor on the 2005 championship team, and if you can't see how bad eloy is then that's on you, wow

  • Thanks for the Cubs wins Ivan, but I Nova want to see you in a Sox uniform much longer

Why does every other team get to hit the new “tightly wound” “less drag”  baseballs, and the White Sox have to use the 1906 version?

How about an old starter who was around the last time the Sox won a World Series who could barely crack 90 MPH?

i really wonder what our scouts do.

Stoney says Duffy is not a strikeout pitcher, which means he’ll K about 10 Sox tonight!

I believe radio/tv ratings have been on the uptick this season for the Sox...I wonder if they go back in the tank with how unwatchable they've been lately?

I wouldn’t be surprised.  This is pretty much unwatchable other than for the diehards.

You were saying...Duffy strikes out the side

Stone:  “Duffy isn’t a strikeout pitcher.”

Benetti:  “And Duffy strikes out the side.”

This team sucks!

Don’t forget whatever return they get for Merrifield.  It could be like our return for Sale/Quintana.

Yep. They are probably going to deal Duffy and Gordon as well.

The Sox are a lot closer to KC's level than the Twinkies that is for sure.

4-3 win tonight. Nova has a good game.

Well I tried.

I think Stone forgot to mention the Sox essentially fielding a AAA lineup minus a handful of guys.

This effort really is inexcusable. At least Eloy seems to be all in one piece.

4-3 is still a possibility so that means Nova is in there for awhile which means this might be a 6 hour game

Not even close.

Merrifield running the bases like he plays for the Sox.

Anyone know the record on most consecutive losses to start the second half in Sox history?

Don’t be so sure.  There isn’t likely going to be many good bats available on the trade market and Merrifield is definitely the top leadoff hitter who could be available.

Our infield defense is “terrible”?

You’ll know soon when we get there.  ?

Yolmer needs to just be done with

When healthy, Anderson and Abreu aren’t exactly wizards.

It’s nothing special due to Anderson and Abreu rating so poorly

He is making himself the easiest non-tender ever.

It would be like the Rays trading Wander Franco, Liberatore, and a solid third piece for him if you equate the Sale trade.
