Ricky missing next series for rotator cuff surgery

Featured Replies

Will be interesting to see how the lineups and calls will look under Joe McEwing.

Maybe Ricky's lineups and decisions will look better after a couple vicodins.

Shocker, this organization can't keep anyone healthy.

He's only missing one series with rotator cuff surgery.  That's a big medical advance.

Strip Coop of his Trainer Emeritus title. He's a joke at this point.

Rocky will need at least a full year and a month of rehab on Gilligan Epstein's island.

I wonder how many guys throw batting practice for the Sox. I'd imagine those guys' arms eventually fall off like MLB pitchers. How the hell do they find enough BP pitchers? They have to whip it in there at least 75-80 mph I'd think.

I had this surgery.  On Saturday he won't believe the pain.  Ricky won't be anywhere near the park.  Wish him well.

I'm surprised that Capra doesn't need the surgery, with his constant waving the runners around 3B to their ultimate demise at home plate.

Have you seen our pitchers this year?

I'm not surprised this surgery was needed after throwing crappy lineups out there all season.

Well said, do we even know if a doctor diagnosed this or was it his gut telling him it’s injured?

Don't hurry back on my account.
