A Realistic Offseason

Grandal, Nimmo, and Price would be a pretty solid off-season.

If Price doesn’t have Benintendi attached to him, I would pass.

What if JD Martinez was included with Price?

? @Chicago White Sox my partner on the original Grandal + Nimmo bandwagon, We still got a shot buddy!

I deserve a spot here hah - June 6th! I definitely rounded out the the team a bit weak though. Oh well.

Give the man his props! You’re always welcome on the bandwagon! I’ll have to look tomorrow when I get in front of a computer my first mention of Nimmo - Not sure of June 6 has me beat, but it may!

Seriously tho - Nimmo is the perfect fit. If working directly with the Mets, maybe taking Lowrie off their hands would help.

Giving props for a guy the Sox likely won’t acquire anyways?  Great idea.  I just wish Hahn was as smart.  This is a sad state of affairs.

I still believe we got a shot at Nimmo.  Adding him & Grandal would be the definition of addressing our OBP and balance issues.

You can always take a break man. It's not all that serious. I'm not really sure what's sad here.

Interesting point on Lowire. He's owed $10m. Also was a Brodie Van Wagenen client to complicate things

You were definitely all over Nimmo & Grandal!  That team could probably use a little more pitching though ?

Yeah I guess looking back I was not expecting the Sox to fully take the leap on pitching.

Well the Nimmo hope was fun to be rejuvenated for a hot 20 minutes.

It’s sad that Sox fans identify better trade targets than our front office and we wind up with guys like Mazara instead.
