I've already said I have no problem with Mendick...just think Sanchez will get heavy consideration once he finds the 6M isn't available elsewhere. Signing EE only keeps us from seeing what Collins can do which we need to find out going into next year. Mendick is cheap and showed some skill in a short stint. Let him be the bench guy. Forget Hernandez and/or Yolmer. Sign Ryu and Wood. Grab a BP piece and call it a season. I for one dont have some hatred for the FO. They went for Wheeler and he choose not to come here. Stras wanted to stay with the Nats. The Cole deal for 9 years is insane. Lets show more progress this year and see if we increase FA's interest next year. SSS size on his production last year . But when I was talking about trading Madrigal for Zac Gallen because 2nd base could easily be filled. Some brought up the available guys who suck at 2nd base so I had to bring up the guys available who don't suck who could be used at 2nd base and I included Mendick and Iglesias.
