Vaughn is gonna put up clownish numbers at  High A to start the season (and yes he will start there so they can use the "3 levels" excuse at the end of the year for the service time issue).

Like .350/.500/.700.

More alarming than his soft contact, Madrigal's speed is a bit overrated from what I've seen this spring.

I just don’t see how he’s an impact player at all. Still bummed he wasn’t used as trade bait.

He'll be fine. Not worried about him at all; there's a place for him on this roster and with this team. He fits nicely around the other pieces.

Amongst his most highly touted attributes, Nick Madrigal is supposed to possess the highest rated baseball IQ (as ranked by MLB.com) amongst all current MLB prospects. Given the Situation; bases loaded with nobody out, along with the  demonstrable wildness of (Rockies’ SP) Peter Lambert that inning, combined with Madrigal’s diminutive stature (Incredibly small strike zone), Little Nicky’s situational approach was head scratching. To go up to the plate first pitch hunting (given the situation) didn’t make any sense, whatsoever.

Sox go 123 in the 3rd.

Tied at 2 after 3.

How many home runs/rbi's are we expecting out of EE in the DH role in this lineup this year?

I (for one) love what Madrigal brings to the White Sox. He is clearly pressing (so far) early in spring training. When all is said and done I believe he will be a solid overall contributor to the WS this season.

Anderson out, Detwiler in.

Anderson 3IP, 3H, 2ER, 2K, 0BB.  Both runs via solo home runs.

Swinging at the first pitch in a bases loaded situation is not a bad idea at all; conceptually, you're damn near guaranteed to see a fastball in the zone if the pitcher can get it there.

35/100. But there's a lot more than just those numbers....

Gold Glove caliber player that will most likely bat .280 as a FLOOR.. I'd say there's lots of use there.

He's having a rough spring, I suspect he might be trying too hard to prove he should be up on opening day which wasn't gonna happen regardless. He will find himself and even if he's just an average regular that's OK.

This play by play guy needs to accentuate the nuts in peanuts. Almost spit my water out when i thought he said bees were attracted to penis.

I’m so glad Konerko didn’t swing at the first pitch with the bases loaded in game 2 of the World Series. Oh wait...

Dumb post for $500, Alex.

So he is a dumb ball player for swinging at a first pitch with bases loaded once in a spring training game.. Valid statement.

My bad... Veteran 6’2” 220 lb multi-time all-star slugger (and team captain) vs a scuffling diminutive prospect with zero MLB experience. You are absolutely correct (I was dead wrong) They are identical.

Dahl solo homer just over the wall in left center.  3-2 Rox.

Absolutely nothing wrong with ripping a first pitch (dead center) fastball with the bases loaded and nobody out in a meaningless spring training game.

That said, A Paul Konerko World Series, bases loaded analogy is a stretch.

Desmond off with the pitch, scores easily on a double to the wall past Mazara.  4-2.

Woof, Colome throwing batting practice up there. Closer spot in going to be a huge issue this year.
