Now we can argue Mendick getting deked and Grandal aided and abetted the meltdown, but Anderson was never any good in the first place. I can’t remember a singke spring game the last two years where he was unscored upon.

Luplow was something like 0/20 coming into game, Taylor a catcher best known for defense (not really known at all compared to the likes of Gomes and R. Perez) and DeShields just MEH as a hitter.
