Mazara inserted into the line-up to set up Mendick and Goins for RBI's, right?

If Mendick had any power that was a good pitch to hit

    Yea well I'd like a 8" pecker.

That centerfield is so gigantic, it makes Old Comiskey seem pedestrian in comparison.

Will never forget the old Tigers' Stadium with that flag pole in the field of play out there around 440ish where it kind of went into a triangle/cutout.

Goins can't hit the ball ANY harder than that one...didn't even get to the fence/gap.

Comerica is a really shitty park, change my mind.

Charlotte power.

Damn shifts, if the CF plays straight up that’s a gapper. Nice swing by Goins, gotta give credit where it’s due

Just for reference, .940 xBA on that Luis Robert flyout. Pretty bad luck

The original Comiskey dimensions were something like 20 feet deeper to CF than Comerica is.

Been there, won't argue it for sure.  One of my least favorites.

Juan Gonzalez agrees with you.

As a fan, it's not bad.   Still prefer the overhangs/second decks in the old stadium, even though it was located in a not so good area of the city.   That park had character, pretty sure they filmed most of the scenes from THE NATURAL there.    The recently outdated Rangers' stadium was a bit reminscent with the outfield decking.

The coolest was hitting balls onto the roof (Cecil Fielder) and the high pop-ups into the outfield that would get caught in the overhang in the first or second row when it should have been a routine fly ball.

The only thing that's cool is the merry go round and then the city skyline backdrop over the outfield wall//Ford display models and that plastic Tigers' statue out there.

Yep, been there plenty of times, pretty bad site lines all around imo.  Only good thing about the park is how they oriented with the skyline, which is nice.

That is my favorite thing about the park as well.  We had 10th row dugout seats once, and it was like being at the top of the 100 level in terms of where we were oriented to the field.

McCann and Cease were crossed up.

God damnit, catcher defense has been HORRIBLE this year.

Cmon McCann wtf was that!

Turning point of this game. Gotta get a DP after that lost out.

McCann got crossed up....what the heck happened there?  Waiting for a breaking ball and got the high heat.   Fooled the batter, too.

Then he was flinching a bit from the swing and didn't get the ball to first quickly enough.

Still waiting for a totally clean White Sox game defensively.

Huge AB here.  Pitch over it Dylan.

That wasn;'t bad defense.  He was expecting something breaking and low, and got a high fastball.

He got clipped in the head with a 99mph heater when he expected a breaking ball

huge strikeout

He Gone

Big SO there.

Lost the DP possibility.   Okay, now just get the strikeout and focus on the hitters.
