Mendick has been really good so far. Not great at any thing, but solid at every thing.

I'd rather go with a young player.

As long as he's not hitting anywhere above 8th in the batting order. In 2018 he hit 2nd 96 times, and led off 15 times. Fortunately in 2019, he most commonly batted 8th.

My guess is Yolmer would replace Goins and be mostly a backup at 3B for Moncada.  Mendick would be replaced by Madrigal when deemed ready to go.
