1 day off between LDS & LCS is rough.  It will pay off to finish off the series early.

For me, I’m going with Giolito, Keuchel, & Dunning in games 1 through 3 respectively in both the Wild Card & Divisional rounds (the three days off between the series allows for this).  Game 4 of the DS would be Cease by default if needed.  No idea what you do if there is a game 5.  Do you go with Giolito on short rest but then limit his availability in a potential ALCS that has no off days?  I don’t see how you can possibly run out Lopez or Stiever in a do or die game.  To me, that ALCS series is where the real trap exists for teams like us that lack quality depth in their rotation.

Yup, especially for us.  We don’t have the rotation depth to survive a long ALDS and be a strong position to win the ALCS.

Why is there three days off after the wild card games! Seems kind of weird.

No fucking clue.  Honestly that’s good for the Sox, but sucks as a fan as it means no baseball on the actual weekend.

With this being in a bubble, may get some very weird game times. So happy I’m working from home for foreseeable future.

Probably getting everyone into the bubble, getting tested, etc.

Just weird that none of the other rounds have breaks like that. Maybe to reset rotations? Weird in any event.

Makes sense

IN theory, the highest chances of positive corona cases come at the beginning of the bubble.

Elite-O, Dk, Dunning

Then you have Rodon, Cease, Reylo, Gio G, and Stiever for clean up innings and start game 4's.

Yes:  maybe use those days to build a little breather in that grueling 7-games-in-7-days championship series.  My god.

I've moved our conversation about the National Football League to the NFL Catch All.

Please, continue on. My apologies.

Teams have to fly to Cali and get tested before next round of games. After these tests, you can keep playing as no one will get Covid on the bubble.
