November 3, 20205 yr His resurgence and production at his age is something you would see in the 90s MLB. Crazy.

November 3, 20205 yr I can say that over a 60 game sprint, Abreu's game found another level than he had in the past. And I say this, not "just" at the dish, but hustling to beat out infield hits, defensively, and as a center of influence in the clubhouse. Whether or not he could have sustained such a level over 162 is subject to debate. But for the 60 game season that was this year, we all have to hand the MVP to him, IMO. I'm glad that he's a White Sox today. I also think it can be also fair to debate whether or not we'll be glad he's a White Sox by the end of his contract. Both can be true at the same time. Get with the times bro. RBIs are worthless. I would lead the league in RBIs if I had Tim Anderson ahead of me in the order. Edited November 3, 20205 yr by Yearnin' for Yermin

November 3, 20205 yr Anyway, I think Jose wins this. It's a shame it will have an asterisk due to the shortened season, but who knows if he keeps that place up in a 162-game season. I doubt it.
