Upper deck question?

Featured Replies

Not sure where to put this, but I had a question for people who have recently sat in the upper deck.
If you purchase upper deck tickets are you able to get access to the main concourse? I want to take my daughter, but want to be sure we can walk around the concourse, since we will probably doing that for a majority of the game.
Any insight would be appreciated.

They have been checking tickets on your phone pretty carefully since all star break.

Upper deck ticket means no concourse access unfortunately.  If walking around the concourse/taking in views of the park is what you are after I'd go with a cheap bleacher seat or elsewhere in the OF.

No, but what I would do is price shop the lower corners. They are cheaper than the other lower deck seats (except for maybe the outfield). Check their website for deals too.

Thanks everyone!

You used to be able to walk the concourse and watch the game at the same time. Not anymore. There are so many stands, that doesn’t work anymore.

we had Upper Deck on Saturday. kid wanted a churro, and they ran out in the upper deck. wife took kid down to lower level and explained the situation and they let it slide. they walked around down there (crazy lines) but finally ended up with one of the last 6 churros in the ballpark. took them an hour overall.

that said, Sox need to do something about the concessions with these huge crowds. Very obvious they aren't ready for 36k fans.

They should have vendors back honestly.

Milwaukee was the same way when I was there for the Sox series. Took an hour and a half just to get IN to the park. Missed the 1st 2 innings.

The secret in Milwaukee was to enter through the gate near the 1B foul pole. Barely any line for all three games

Should have done that! Now I know

I had a quick entry through the LF gate at the Milwaukee Sunday night game. Parked by the Uecker lot, walked over the bridge above the creek, then made a right at the stadium.

Even on the upper level, their concession lines were long. Only slightly less congested than Sox Park.
