With the return of Robert and Engel, plus the addition of Hernandez. How good can we be when the playoffs roll around ?

Moncada and TA have been really good all year. Abreu has done well even with his struggles at the plate. Vaughns ability is

to catch what he reaches. With Robert and Engel around he wont have to reach as many. Zavala and Grandal should be fine

if Yasmani gets back early enough. I've heard guys b**** about Goodwin, but playing RF only he should be ok too.

It should be really good.  I had no idea how smooth Hernandez is at 2B.  He is a great athlete, even at 31.

Yeah, the defense looks like it will be a strength when the full lineup is in there. Hamilton off the bench in late innings can give you an outfield defense of Hamilton, Robert, Engel which is just insane.

This team, when fully healthy, doesn't really have a true weakness.

It’s nice being back to having the most talent in the league

Imagine going up against the Sox in late innings when the have this OF, the bullpen, and then having to face a lineup featuring Eloy (at DH), Abreu, Grandal, Robert, Hernandez, Moncada, and Anderson.

The team defense hasn't been nearly as scary as the team IQ.

Let's not forget Andrew Vaughn.  He's not exactly a walk in the park either.

I'm assuming that in a scenario where Hamilton-Robert-Engel is your OF, Eloy is moved to DH and Vaughn is your odd man out.

Depends who starts the game in LF or DH.  You can't "move" someone to DH.

Vaughn belongs in the everyday lineup somewhere.  He can be plugged into any one of four positions.

We know. We’re talking about late inning subs with a lead
