Is kyle hendricks one of the pitchers whose spin rate is way down? Given up a lot of hits and homers this year. Giolito hasn't really been hurt

by it. Like an unnecessary mental crutch.

If you're accusing Hendricks of using spider tack beforehand he is probably the last pitcher in the league that would've done it.

  • Really wish they’d stop resting multiple main starters on the same day.  If they want to take the foot completely off the gas pedal, there are better ways to do it than all these garbage Sunday lineup

Showing up the ump all game…Patrick Wisdom sure is acting like he’s been a big hitter for a long time when he hasn’t…

Hendriks probably gets an inning today since he won't pitch for almost a week if he doesn't.

I was thinking today might also make sense as a get right outing for Kopech.

Robert is so damn smooth out there

lmao Luis just threw it into the crowd again

I think is the best Luis has looked ranging around CF since he returned. Looking like his 2020 self out there today.

Much smoother and faster. Also not grimacing after every play.

I wish he will pause a bit before doing that or Angel hernandez is gonna call that a hr

We dropped an 8 spot on Kyle Hendricks with a shit lineup. Unbelievable.

Yeah you just know some asshole ump is gonna call that to make some kind of a point.

Everyone not named Leury Garcia has a hit in this game.

At every point in Luis Robert's development there's a period where he briefly struggles and then gets locked in and starts destroying that level's pitching. Seems like he's there with MLB now but there is no higher level for him to get promoted to now.

He is laying off the low and away slider. He's a bad man

Can you swing 3-0 up 12-1?  Asking for an amigo.

AV walk.  Bases loaded with one down.

Lou Bob looks like he is going to hit every pitch 500ft. Scares the piss outta me in my living room...bad man

He HAS to figure out how to stay in the line up 150 times a year. If he can do that regularly,  he will be an MVP type player.

Pour it on

That was terrible Blue.  Low and outside and never had the plate

It's hard for him to resist that because he's been able to hit it at lower levels and MLB pitchers are too good, they started taking advantage of him and he was having some tough ABs for a while, but he figured it out. Still strikes out on it (like every MLB player does) but nowhere near as often.

He has had a very wide zone today.

Get yourself a hit Leury

Sox are getting the same production from Goodwin that they would have had with Joc Pederson. And they gert to keep Cease.
