Great news tonight that Rodon's back.  Gio, Rodon and Lynn matches up with anyone (and overmatches several).

Yes, Cease too.

If Houston wins tomorrow it’s going to be extremely difficult to get HFA because we would need to sweep Detroit and hope Oakland sweeps Houston. Tomorrow is a big game.

it's very unlikely Houston loses HFA in the first rd.  The Sox are 2 games back in the loss column with 3 games left.

If the Sox sweep DET it would put them at 94-68 and only need OAK to take 3 of 4. If the Sox take 2 of 3, it puts them at 93-69 and need OAK to sweep.

If Houston takes the first two games vs Oakland, TLR should just play the scrubs and rest everyone else

Houston still has one left against Tampa, 3 against OAK.

His velocity being waaaay down is still a huge concern, but the results were great. Wondering how much he can get away with similar stuff vs that Houston lineup. If he can get by, Rodon > Kopech > back end of the bullpen is a great looking formula.
