Promotional Giveaway Days

Featured Replies

I am going to the April 30th Angel's game. The promotional item is the Southside hockey jersey for the first 20,000 fans.

How early do you have to arrive for promo items? How quickly can the park fill up with 20k fans, assuming decent weather.

Trying to gauge what time to arrive.

I would say to get there as early as you're comfortable with waiting. There have been lines outside of every gate for giveaways. The last time I went to a giveaway game was the Abreu bobblehead and the line was insane.
Keep in mind as well that the only sizes of jersey being given away are medium and XL, so unless you wear a small or large t-shirt, these jerseys won't fit you very well.

I believe the gates open 90 minutes before game time.

The hockey jersey looks cool....hope you have no problem getting one.

Haven't been to a game since 2019, but my experience was that on a Saturday with a high profile opponent (which the Angels are with Ohtani) you need to be in line before the gates open to get a promo item.

Critic from the clouds!

The White Sox did that last year when they gave away Madrigal.

I've been lurking here and there, but haven't had too much to say. I'm trying my best not to be too negative, but negativity is my native language and my default setting!

I am waiting for TLR flask day.

I'll take the XL flask over the medium one!

and their XL is not an overly generous XL

I would think the hockey jersey will be the most popular giveaway of the season. You better get there early
