Oh my, how the once mighty have fallen!!

A sign your career might be winding down. But, I am sure the Sox will look into signing him.

He's toast. Fried.

This will be moved quickly to MLB catch all section.

Padres circling Benintendi already. Trayce Thompson or Mazara not real answers.

Since you watch the Padres, how bad did he look defensively at 2B?

He's much worse than Harrison.  Probably better than Burger.

I think he had one two hit game with a homer since signing but recently a Moncada like slide with numerous blown opportunities to tie up or take leads with RISP.

He put up an OPS that was about 150 points less than Josh Harrison.  I didn't know that was even possible.  The only way I would even consider it is if he was willing to go to Charlotte for a month to see if he could get going.

If Cano is willing to accept a AAA assignment in Charlotte I'd 100% give him a shot. And yes, I understand there's a crunch down there already. Don't care.

Also, don't want to make a whole thread, but speaking of Mazara, (who's stats were damn good in AAA btw) I saw that Steele Walker was tearing the cover off the ball and called up for the Rangers yesterday. Who knows if he pans out ... but damn. In a vacuum i think you do that trade still, but hindsight not looking great

In lieu of Gonzalez and Walker, I have a feeling our drafting team wants to start screaming at our development team.

I actually really liked Walker and thought he'd be a low cost doubles machine for us in RF....I really hated that trade when it was made.

Sheets loved it.

Mazara .300, RBI, .764 ops.

10 at bats haha.  Placeholder like Trayce earlier in the year.
