Sox Hire Logan Jones from Dbacks

Featured Replies

May not be thread worthy as I’m not sure what role he is filling, but looks like he was a strength & conditioning coach for the Diamondbacks’ AA team last year.

Please tell me the DBacks AA team was the pinnacle of health…

Every time the White Sox bring in someone from outside of the organization,  the better I feel about this off season.

Well, he can't possibly do any worse than the s%*# show we saw last year.

This was the thing Pedro was leaking out at his press conference when Rick changed the subject. This is good, or at least better than nothing.

Tony Larussa probably recommended him

The D-Backs had the 23rd most IL days last year, which is pretty good overall. They had 22 guys hit the IL, compared to 25 for the White Sox - an average team had 24.6. However, their lineup was the third youngest in baseball, which should help them be healthier than average. Their pitching staff was somewhat ancient though, 5th oldest in baseball, so perhaps that balances that out.
