I want to say he only had one routine play in yesterday’s game.  The starters only played a few innings.  Didn’t see any mention of him today. 

So what wold be a sign the organization is pretty damn high on Burger?  Even over Colas?

maybe Eloy playing more RF than any of us wants

There will be no signs. There are reasons to play guys in ST mainly because they deserve to be able to show what they have. Or the FO may ask to play a guy they are trying to move and hope they plays well .

Being prepared and ready to play the OF doesn't mean during the season it will happen that often. He should want to play the OF . His manager should want him prepared to play the OF. That's all this is until there is a point where injuries dictate he play the OF more often.
