June 18, 20232 yr https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=06/18/2023 https://www.milb.com/scores/all/all/whitesox Happy Father's Day to all the dads. Call your dad if you can, wish I could.
June 18, 20232 yr Pretty awesome start for Tanner McDougal. Great to see him keeping the walks down while continuing to miss bats. 3.2 IP 8 K 1 BB 1 H 0 R
June 18, 20232 yr Simas also off to a good start 3IP 2H 1R 1ER 0bb 7K. Bloop and then a triple from supplemental first rounder Jacob Melton.
June 18, 20232 yr Sox lower level pitching is improving. I'd rank their starters like this: 1. Schultz 2. Mena 3. Cannon 4. Pallette 5. McDougal 6. Kelley (I know, but if he can be a bulk guy, that's as good as starting to me) 7. Burke 8. Thompson 9. Schweitzer 10 Murphy 11. Simas 12. Vera (but hope is waning) 13. Nolasco (I believe he eventually starts) 14. McCullough 15. Sommer.
June 18, 20232 yr Is Montgomery going to play at all this year? If he's having back issues already that's no bueno. Edited June 18, 20232 yr by baseballgalaly

June 18, 20232 yr Simas is done 5.1 3H (blooper, 2b&3b to Melton) 1R 1ER 0 10K. Adler had a rough outing, 2 walks, 2H, 3R.
June 18, 20232 yr McDougal is getting closer to becoming at a level even with Schultz for me. He isn't there by any means but I think his ceiling is inching upwards for sure. I've been really high on McDougal prior to the season and I think I even might have been a bit too low. Big potential but with volatile possibilities as to his progression. But man do I love his game.

He (and Vera) were sent there on rehab assignments when their season started two weeks ago, although both have yet to get into a game for whatever reason.
June 18, 20232 yr Schoenle went 6.1IP 3H 2R 2ER 1bb 7K. One of the runs was an inherited runner let in by that putrid bullpen. You ever want a laugh, look at the numbers of the guys in that pen.
