Won't miss Grandal one bit. However acquiring Maldonado depresses me to no end.

JR: have we done all we can to crush the few reminding fans at Soxtalk?

He had a very solid first two years...then the bottom dropped out.

We all weren't, not for that contract and his noted issues as a catcher, which is why the Dodgers started Austin Barnes over him in the 2017 and 2018 World Series, despite the fact Grandal was a regular starter when the games didn't matter as much.
