  • 82-85 feels about right.  We will win the division with that rather pedestrian win total.  Looks like a scrappy bunch that will play fundamentally sound baseball.  Good depth on the bench and at Charl

  • I'm glad you feel this way. I agree with you. I think its going to be a great 2024 season for the White Sox.

  • I'm hoping that the team surprises us by not being the worst ever but I can't see them winning more than 70 games.

You win !!

What did I win?   And how do I claim my prize?   I hope its a couple billion dollars so I can buy the White Sox!

This might have been the best prediction in this whole thread,

My Gawd this is a depressing thread.

Because so many of us were being so pessimistic.... but not pessimistic enough.

I honestly thought people were being optimistic predicting 50-60 wins.

I would like to say if 'somehow, some way' the Sox are good I will be happy, not hope they reek just because I feel it's a horrible roster makeup and horrible front office and manager. I think I deserve some fair weather-ism after being a Sox fan all my life. Until this year I've never gone completely, utterly negative. Even during the tank years I'd get in trouble on the board for wanting us to win 'meaningless' games in August and Sept. So yes I'd jump aboard the bandwagon if we somehow win. That said ... 49 wins to 51 wins. I'll go 49.

Not bad effort from greg, folks. They had 41 wins and I also had under 50 which is hard to do. I'm a little ashamed I didn't go lower. I knew the team reeked thus me not purchasing mlb.com for the first time in many moons. I'm sure I'll stick with under 50 wins for 2025 cause I don't expect much movement except trading Robert and Crochet and those players we get aren't ready.

I see my 2024-win total of +100 was a little high. Not to be negative but for the 2025 season I will drop down to the 94-99 win total. I reserve the right to go into the + 100 if the Sox sign Soto in F/A.
