I’d say that play had a 30-40% chance of working out. I’ll take that.

Yeah, they should have just kept Fletcher down in AAA.  I also have no idea how they can justify batting Vaughn 2nd.  Hopefully Fedde pitches well rest of the game to keep his trade value high.

Benintendi just brings nothing to the table. It can’t be overstated how much of a negative impact Hostetler had on this org.

Outside of that two homer game, he’s having a truly terrible season.  He’s batting .180 over his last 15 games, so it’s not like anything is improving with him.

It makes no sense sitting him on the bench with two absolutely useless worthless players in LF and RF.  As dumb as Grifol is even he has to know his days are numbered.  Those two bums aren't going to save his job.

For as much as defense was touted by Getz, we continue to suck at it while sticking with the 1B in RF.

The only thing I can think of is they told him hes safe and they realize this year is a wash. Nothing else makes sense.

Worst start in franchise history, obvious season is over, why are they not at least TRYING something different? I feel like Benintendi has been lead off or 5th all year long. Its literally killing this team. Same with Vaughn. Just shuffle the lineup or try something different for fucks sake.
