Leasure to IL, Peralta up

Featured Replies

Too bad for Leasure. I hope he heals up. I bet there's a bit of bullpen churn after the deadline. Coffey, AHT, Adler, and Cousin are all possibilities if they trade Kopech, Brebbia, etc.

Just chiming in that shoulder impingements fucking suck.

Take all the time you need Leasure

All the time

Leasure spent about 3 weeks in AAA. I don’t really care to do the math right now, but he should be just under a full year of service should be spend the balance of the season on the IL.

Yes they do, depending on the etiology they can be really debilitating.

I had one in college and I realized it wasn't a normal shoulder tweak/injury when I reached into my bookbag to grab my laptop and could barely lift it.

That's common. Believe it or not that's actually a clinical test we use called a lift off test. Gives a a good clue as to the part of the cuff that's involved.

The injury might explain his drop off from being pretty solid.

When I hear of a shoulder injury for a pitcher I cringe, hopefully Jordan comes back strong.
