July 20, 20241 yr Prior to tonight’s game at Kansas City, the #WhiteSox announced the following two roster moves: - Recalled from Class AAA Charlotte (1): LHP Sammy Peralta; - Placed on 15-day injured list (1): RHP Jordan Leasure with a right shoulder impingement (retroactive to July 17). — Chicago White Sox (@whitesox) July 20, 2024
July 20, 20241 yr Too bad for Leasure. I hope he heals up. I bet there's a bit of bullpen churn after the deadline. Coffey, AHT, Adler, and Cousin are all possibilities if they trade Kopech, Brebbia, etc.
July 20, 20241 yr Leasure spent about 3 weeks in AAA. I don’t really care to do the math right now, but he should be just under a full year of service should be spend the balance of the season on the IL. Edited July 20, 20241 yr by ChiSox59

That's common. Believe it or not that's actually a clinical test we use called a lift off test. Gives a a good clue as to the part of the cuff that's involved.
July 21, 20241 yr The injury might explain his drop off from being pretty solid. When I hear of a shoulder injury for a pitcher I cringe, hopefully Jordan comes back strong.
