Davis Martin has been at least one bright spot coming back from injury. He might stick in the rotation next year. Next year's staff might be serviceable at least. Crochet, Thorpe, Cannon, Martin all appear to competent major league pitchers so far and all are young with lots of control. Imagine if games were only 6 innings long, we might have won 60 games this eyar.

If he is healthy, Martin is 100% in the rotation next year.  It's a numbers game, and especially after Crochet gets dealt, who else could it be?

Nicky Lopez is a 74 OPS+ hitter.  People should be talking about his offensive production, but more in terms of why he is still on a major league roster.

Whether we end up 2-3 or 1-4 after tonight since Grady took over, you have to admit this team looks way better.

It's still the same shitty bullpen.  The manager doesn't matter when everyone sucks.

More energy, more motivation, more fun.  Pedro did not provide those attributes.
