According to WestEddy, Getz goal this year was to fix the pitching. Mission accomplished. 29th lowest ERA in baseball.

If they lose this one, it will be 4-33 their last 37.  Except for WestEddy and Schriffen, everyone would agree that is unacceptably bad,

  • None of this is happening, not yesterday, not today and not tomorrow. The Sox make money...that's the bottom line for MLB. And yet again. MLB can get a LOT more money from an expansion fee, than

The NFL allowed a team to leave Houston for Nashville.  NBA moved a team from Charlotte and then added an expansion franchise, they did the same thing with New Orleans.  NFL did the same in Cleveland.  Look at the NFL in southern California and that musical chairs or how the NFL treated St Louis.

MLB is not doing anything to Reinsdorf.  If he wants to move they will let him and maybe if the owners are greedy enough they will add two expansion teams and Chicago may be one of them.

Only real option as fans is sadly, the death of the owner which we all witnessed with the Blackhawks can improve their situation.

From a business standpoint Reinsdorf is not selling while he is still alive and nobody can blame him for that.

I think we do play them more than others just not as much as in the past.

Still 13 times a year but still playing your division 24 games less.

It was 19x4=76/162 games in Central

It’s getting close to the point that League intervention is almost necessary.  They are so bad that they are affecting the competitive balance of the league.  Does anyone honestly think three ALC teams should make the post-season?  No, but they get to play the White Sox so often that it skews the Wild Card standings.

That’s always been the problem with the WC though

Maybe Jerry will be upset fans are upset and move the team on his own. He probably thinks the fans have no right to be mad, just happy there's a team at 35th and Shields. Sox are benefiting from media not caring about the other team in Chicago. Nobody's yet asked anybody important about possibly contracting teams not trying to win.
