The hospital staff listened to the recommendations of the Bulls medical staff... That's why they checked for meningitis. You don't just default to a meningitis diagnosis and a spinal tap without reason. It's not like there was a meningitis outbreak happening at the time. You know what there was at the time? A flu outbreak in the Bulls locker room....

The Bulls staff is the reason he didn't get a simple fucking flu test. The fact that the anesthesiologist fucked up the spinal tap is a pretty big red flag, as well. That's the hospital system the Bulls choose to work with(Rush).

Yeah, meningitis can lay dormant for a while before being symptomatic. But it being dormant for almost a year? Come on. What an absurd stretch.

The Bulls publicly apologized for the situation. Do you think a sports organization does that if they aren't at least partially to blame for what happened?

Whatever. I'm done rehashing history from a decade ago. Reinsdorf owned teams have a long history of incompetence when it comes to medical and training staff, and deserve absolutely no benefit of the doubt.

Straight from Deng’s own mouth.  He says the Bulls medical staff misdiagnosed and provided bad recommendations for his medical issues multiple times, not just with the meningitis (flu) incident…

So they had Thorpe throwing with a bone spur?  That's interesting.

Never give this stupid organization the benefit of the doubt.  You can almost always assume they fucked up.

I agree it's not worth rehashing a decade old issue from people who weren't involved in it but enjoy placing blame.

Regardless of what you may think Rush medical system is a good organization.

Well if a player says it then it must be true. I have no knowledge of the individual incidences and wouldn't comment on it unless I knew more about them.  Anytime meningitisis even suspected when someone is in a large group scenario, they will default to getting tested.

Sarcasm flies right by.

I must be missing the sarcasm.  Deng was directly involved in all of his own medical incidents, and I posted a video on his own testimony of those incidents.

It is sarcasm because it's only one point of view as to if there was actually any misdiagnosed or poor medical.

Anytime only one point of view is given it should be taken for what it's worth, hence the "well if the player said it it must be true."

Many players claim these types of things when their career is over and most of the time, it's not reality. Now again not being involved in them, I can't specifically comment. However, it would be interesting to see all of malpractice lawsuits that were involved in it if it was that bad. Players do win them if it was truly bad medical care as it does happen and is justified at times.

Jack McDowell can attest to your last statement.

Have to wonder about Sirotka too.

Jimmy Cordero was flat out destroyed.
