3/9 - Sox @ Guards - 3:05 CDT - spring training

Recommended Posts

C. Monty back. Joey Gallo - 2-17, 9 K, 0 BB. Burke in a B game today. Looking forward to the Clevenger TJS announcement after a 3-pitch outing today. Nice to not see Amaya in the lineup for a couple of days, now.

Boards gonna be happy no video today

I will say that I am shocked to see Karinchak still in camp.  To say he has nothing is an insult to nothing. Kinda surprised to see Mitchell and Gallo starting as well. either of those guys have looked conceivable, let alone good.

I'd be interested to see our road lineups vs our home lineups and if its a lot of rosters edge guys on the road

It's like, if you squint, you can see 4 starters in the lineup.

Karinchak just not effective at 93...and zero ability to hold runners on with that unorthodox wind up.

Somehow he discovered an effective curve and got 2 k's.

Clevinger at 95 and two K's...feels pretty likely he makes the team with all the injuries.  Venable said he might not name an official closer the entire season.

Well we did that the last two seasons and it worked out great! God forbid we establish roles and allow our bullpen to find a semblance of a routine.....more dumb s%*#.

Damn, no winner’s thread today

Lots of good pitching by the Sox the last 2 games .Only 10 hits total and 3 runs in 17 innings.

I expect to see Gallo and Dalbec gone soon. Let them see if they can catch on with another team.

Dalbec must have requested playing the whole game at third...quite rare for this time in camp.  Unfortunately, he hasn't done anything productive with it.
