3/10 - Sox @ A's - 3:05 CDT - spring training

Featured Replies

Another Sosa 1B start, first spring starts for DeLoach (RF) and Teel (DH). DVS doesn't say which Wilson. There are other White Sox than Amaya. Just sayin'.

For the Sox to have a chance to win 63 (which I think is possible but doubtful), the Sox need at least three starters better than Perez, which I think is very possible.

    As is Vargas. Drury too.

Gotta assume that with his lead in shortstop starts, Amaya is the "bust" in C. Monty or Bust!!

Certainly getting a good look at Amaya before they release him again. For anyone hoping Baldwin starts the season as the starting SS it's not looking good.

Maybe he'll play more when they start ramping up the time on the field for guys who'll be on the 26.

I guess Sosa is the backup 1B.

They need that and some guys to hit and the BP to be much better to get to 63. Guess you don't want another 100 loss season, but it's not likely.

Plenty of games are decided once the SP are out of the game. That means BP has to hold the other team while the offense picks it up against top relievers. This is where managers earn their money.

I want whatever puts us at the best odds for #1 pick in 2026. It's going to be ugly anyway.

Don't think you have to worry about that. Sox should be the favorite .

2-spot in the first. BB to Sosa, HBP Robert. Rojas singled in a run, Vargas w/the sac fly.

Hold 'em and go home.

Amaya already out of the game for the A's 2nd inning. Bergolla in. Injury ?

Or the Marlins/Rockies...

A's announcers say Robert looks great again.

Sosa and Rojas with back to back hits...Lenyn up the middle.

Also they are big fans of Rojas' versatility.

Can't get Twitter to give me embed code.

Amaya departed with hip tightness.

I like this Bergolla kid, already.

Yeah As announces just speculating on this.

Robert K with runner on third.

The big question is whether he can at least hit his weight...defense never a question mark.

Bryse Wilson in...not starting/opening a game a clue to his regular season assignment?

Not so much hitting, but hitting with any power.

Bergolla has the hit tool, no real power. I think it's telling they have Shane Smith in the 5 day rotation in ST. The Brewers did a weird thing with Wilson last year, where they had a 1-2 inning opener for him, then he'd enter and throw 5. Maybe he's that guy.

Bergolla gets a double .The 20 yr. old has 2 hits in 6 AB. Sox with 2 more runs. Teel had a single also.

Rojas now 3 for 3, Sosa single and a walk. Vargas doubles in Rojas who had stolen 2nd for the 2nd time today . 5-1 Sox lead.

Vargas coming on recently.

Think being around former Dodgers' teammates at camp has helped with his comfort level...based on spring interactions.  Smiling a lot more often.

Bergolla hit .300 in A and A+ combined last year . No HR power . 5'9" 160.
