It sucks for him since he had a great year, schedule or not. The Patriots were also just ahead of schedule, much like the Bears. But just like the Bears, there's no guarantee they'll be back in this same spot next year. Their schedule gets much more difficult. But they also have a lot of cap space to improve their talent level. I thought they straight up did not have the talent to match up with the Seahawks, which makes sense for a team that was ahead of schedule and won 4 games last year. 

The good news for the patriots? Their division features the Jets and Dolphins…not Lions, packers, Vikings
