Thaiss Taylor Capra Slater on bench...too many outfielders now

It’s double platooning. Either Tauchman or more likely Benintendi gonna get a lot of at bats vs. lhp. Otherwise, the roster just got more athletic.

I'm I crazy to say I actually like the lineup? I'd move Sosa up but other than that no real complaints

I just said the same thing looking at it. That's the best lineup we've had in the last two seasons, easily. There's some speed, some power, some patience. Not a good lineup but if you squint it looks like somethings resembling a MLB lineup.

Except only four of those hitters are going to be part of the future...maybe just 3, depending on Sosa's eventual fate.

For sure. Hard to name 10 guys on this team that you want on the team next year. Complete tear downs are brutal.

Meanwhile Baldwin and Teel are on a tear while Colson and Vaughn are sitting on the bench in CHLT.  Same with Amaya and Colas.

Somehow feels almost appropriate.

We appear to perhaps have pulled 4 average regulars out of the pile: sosa, quero, meidroth, vargas. that's maybe 8 WAR between them however sliced, that's not bad. We still have a long ass way to go but we do have a bit of a promising youth movement started now. As we know promises nothing but better to watch than last years team even if the record to this point is the same.

Charlotte's position player roster is hilarious to look at.  11 players with at bats for the White Sox + Teel and Montgomery. Only one is on rehab (Lee, and for now). Wild times.

not the worst booth guest at least.

seems thoughtful. I think we've seen the 'philosophy' translate a little bit, but jury is out.

Baltimore has obviously had an unexpectedly putrid offense, I wonder if they're missing him.

T.Gray and Lipcius are probably the only guys without White Sox mlb at-bats now.
