Taylor has classic Closer stuff. The other thing is, why have a 100mph+ pitcher start games and potentially burn out with so many  innings instead of focusing on Closing ? I made this argument with Kopech years ago.

Closes have 30-40% of the value of a tor starter and  keep their form longer.  Prefer a Skenes to a Mason Miller.

Ok so if you take him out of the role he is excelling in for the entire season and he starts blowing saves, and crashes his value, then what?  Just “oops we shouldn’t have made this high leverage reliever into a closer one month before the deadline”?  This is so short sighted
