In my heart I am right.

You're right anyway you look at it. He had a nice start, but an ERA over 9 in his last 5 starts. He's not an all-star but someone from the White Sox has to go.

I guess it should have been Houser and his 8 starts of playing out of his mind, but whatever, there's no one on this team that deserves to be an all-star.

It's such a stupid rule. The All-Star Game should not be a participation trophy. The best of the best should be playing, not "everyone gets an invite!"

Yep, should be an exhibition of the best players in the game. I don't understand what good it does that the White Sox have an un-deserving representative that more than likely doesn't even get in the game.

The stupid thing is that they could’ve just given it to Houser or Vasil and avoided any of these discussions.  Not a big deal either way I suppose.

Mike Vasil, I don't believe in that guy at all. 6.4 K/9 and a 4.65 FIP. We'll see how that ends up.

I agree with this for one big reason: Shane Smith is getting in based on the strength of his first 9 starts, so even though Adrian Houser is pretty much just on a heater, that's the entirety of his season.

But like you said: It doesn't really matter either way.
