July 13, 2025Jul 13 Prior to today’s series finale vs. Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox returned left-handed pitcher Cam Booser from his injury rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte, reinstated him from the 15-day injured list and optioned him to Charlotte. — Chicago White Sox (@whitesox) July 13, 2025

I’m sure he’ll be back after Which makes sense, but the point is everyone who thought he was going to be a desired piece at the trade deadline was as wrong as KW, RH, and JR were about Pedro Grifol. It was a stupid trade. One that probably won’t matter anyway, but made little sense.

July 14, 2025Jul 14 I'm sure Sox would have been open to flipping Booser, but he's basically a long-term piece with a lot of team control and not much mileage on his arm for his age

He walks too many batters. And team control and low mileage on his arm would be great for him being a long-term piece but unfortunately he’s 33, not 27 or so.
