One might actually enjoy watching the development of Teel, Montgomery, Quero, Taylor, Leasure, Sosa, et al. The young players are exciting and their ups and downs are worthy of analysis. Unsure why you're rooting for losses and what changed in your mind. You should elaborate.

But I think there's no reason for you to suddenly 'change' in this way, my friend.

Wow, it's not often a poster asks greg to "elaborate." Usually the sentiment is for me to stifle after being repetitive in posts.

What changed in my mind, I think, was getting numb to all the losing. Losing tore at me for many years as fathom, caulfield et all could attest, as losses to the Cub and the Royals turned me into a raving angry lunatic. Some years the posters wanted us to lose to get a better draft pick and I angered many by saying I wanted to win every game. Finally I got numb to the losing I guess. It's a good study in human behavior. As the Sox lost a diehard by prolonged ineptitude.

I enjoy your last sentence. I agree it's 'fun' to follow the progress of Teel and Colson and Meidroth, etc. And Quero. But it's not fun enuf to tempt me to purchase mlb.com next season.

Don’t forget that they didn’t interview anyone because they could not afford to waste a year. Wonder where they would be had they wasted a year.

What JR has done to the White Sox franchise in his 44 years of ownership is despicable, it’s amazing that there are any Sox fans left at all because of this man, what’s more amazing is that the Sox wi

Nor a CampFire milkshake at those elevated prices....

Loss #99.  Looks like Getz will definitely reach the prestigious award of being involved in three straight 100+ loss seasons.

Why waste one year when you can waste three!

Last year felt more optimistic at very end with Burke pitching well and winning 2/3 against the "resting" Tigers.

Sizemore more energetic as well.

100th loss tonight.  It's official:  third year in a row with 100+ losses.  These incompetent clowns should be ashamed of themselves.  South Side, STAND UP!
