Curious, with the new rules after the trade deadline, if someone is DFA like altavilla just was, is he playoff eligible if another team picks him up?  Or is still the same where any transactions in September make a player not eligible

Altavilla will not be eligible for the claiming team's playoff roster since he wasn't on that team before September 1.
