Bryan Ramos Traded To Orioles

Ramos seems like the kind of guy they should be keeping. Maybe they should court a few pitching injuries so they can open up the 40-man via the 60-day IL.

Oh well, Last In, First Out, I guess.

I think the problem with Ramos is teams get a look at him and realize he's a mediocre at best 3B that can't hit a lick. There's no role for him as a backup only playing one position. He should probably just go to Korea so he can make 500K before 30 and get some sort of pension.

So weird to see them like this. They were always like the Yankees of the Midwest without the money. The team to beat. Now it seems like they could be mired in mediocrity

JR likes cash considerations even more than David Eckstein.

  • I still think Ramos can have a career. Hope he stays healthy with the O's.

I was randomly listened to a Cards podcast last night. They are in a bad way. They might have a worse roster than the Sox and they don't have much on the farm either.

From most accounts I've seen, their farm system is right in line with the White Sox. They've got three prospects that are ranked in places above any Sox prospects.

I still think there roster is a good bit better, BUT I wouldn't be shocked to see them bottom out and play in line with the Sox this year.
