Acuna crushed one to the wall (103mph, 398ft) but it was caught. Colson crushed one foul and then K'd.

Vargas walked and stole 2nd, RBI guy Quero comes through again to knock him in. 1-0 Sox.

Kelenic walked, Sosa double clears the bases. 3-0 Sox.

29 pitches for Springs in the inning, so A's make an early change.

Vargas double, Kelenic walk, Lee HR (110.8mph, 440+) puts the Sox back up 6-3.

Rooker gets one back on a solo shot, 6-4.

Smith's pitch mix is pretty different from usual today so I assume he's working on something.

He was probably working on throwing only borderline strikes and intentionally missing the zone 😆

Noah — You should have already known this rather than creaming your pants over every Sox player in camp including 30+ year old AAA fodder that are putting up a 1.000 OPS in 20 or so plate appearances.

Man the pitching.  Last season, the 2 Rule-5 guys were great; otherwise, the young pitching (Cannon, Burke, Taylor, Smith, Schultz) did not advance and disappointed overall.

Hope 2026 is better.
