It kind of sucks for Wolkow that the short season Rookie levels are gone. The question is how many years can you keep sending him back to Kannapolis? This would be year 3 (assuming that’s where he’s going again). If it’s a .600ish OBP, then maybe he’s just not talented enough to keep going in affiliated ball.

He will get at least one more chance with another org, but it's likely a make or break season imo.

Same with Zavala.

My point is more that there are roster limits for this game. Not like they can call someone over from the backfields.
