Sure, thought he looked great there last year. Thing is, just move him full time to 3b if they’re that convinced about Roch.

I think it's great to keep the versatility with everyone. Keep Acuña fresh. It would be nice having 3 competent shortstops on the team between Monty, Acuña and Meidroth.

Getz and Venable are teaching the league how the game is going to be played, going forward.

From his debut: 13th in FRV (3rd among SS), 18th in OAA for the year despite missing the first 3 months (top 10 when scaled), and 7th on FV in all of baseball.

He also passed the eye test. The kid is a stud MLB SS. The weakest part of his game is his arm which makes the 3rd base move even more egregious. He has elite range at SS.

The Dodgers are spending billions on top tier free agents that need spots. We are making room for Tristan Peters.

We are not the same.

That's a weird way to say the Sox are winning games more efficiently.

I can already hear WS2023 and several others typing. Good luck

Weird how you never brought this up when Caulfield was s%*#-talking Colson every step of the way.

The Dodgers are 3-0. The Sox are 1-3. It’s called cheap, not efficient.

I didnt even think about it much during spring but I hope Acuna and Baldwin kinda piggyback off each other being swiss army knives and learn/help each other out.

The Marlins were 3-0. They ran into a buzzsaw, now they're not.

The Dodgers have spent 137mil per win so far this year, the Sox have only spent $105mil. Checkmate.

Are they in a round robin with the Guards? Who cares? Sure, they should give Benintendi a 3/$110M extension so they can fill the stadium with fans who root for payroll. LOL.

This is a franchise that has the 2nd most losses in MLB history in the previous 2 seasons, and 3rd most in the previous 3. They have proven they know how to lose very well. That's literally it.

Spending money isn’t bad. Spending money on the wrong free agents is bad.

Sox won. Why are you so sad? You're seeing a bunch of players break out. Davis Martin threw his balls over his shoulder and got through that fifth inning. Weird that you're threading needles about why everything sucks. Be happy. Get on the band wagon.

To those who have been giving me s%*# over this word over the last few days... this is ...special. LOL. Can you post a link to this stat?

The Sox won their World Series today, we should all be celebrating.

Which of the following was bad? Newcomb, Murakami, Kay, Hays? Fedde goes tomorrow, and I think Shane Smith's going to be pissed in game 3. Extend Getz is you want to watch a parade!!!

No idea what you're saying, but I've always stuck by Colson.

The Sox pulled their big boy pants up, and they're ready to do business. They ran into the best team in the NL last year, coming out of spring training with a chip on their shoulder. This is what they look like against the league during the season.

Fun game. Sox had some of the batted ball luck today.

You're just reinforcing the argument I made earlier - when the Sox win, the opponents are scrubs. When they lose, they lost against scrubs, too. Scratch your chin....

The only one that reinforced your argument was the voice in your own head. I’m pretty sure no one called the Brewers scrubs, if they are the team you are referring to. People did say that the Brewers aren’t the best team in the NL, which isn’t a crazy stance considering the Dodgers still exist. They are also down two starting position players in Chourio and Vaughn. Even you later revised your statement about this.

Obviously every win counts, but there is a bit of a difference between beating a team like the Brewers and beating up on a bad #5 starter in Chris Paddack and the Marlins.
