11 hours ago11 hr Thrilled with Schultz so far. Arguably the most important Sox thing today. Edited 11 hours ago11 hr by fathom
11 hours ago11 hr Schultz done after 5. Gave up a solo shot but didn't really break a sweat otherwise. 5K, 2H, 1BB. Sat 96-97.Only 7 whiffs on 26 swings today, but located well with a 72% strike rate and 15 called strikes. Cutter looks good.Becoming quite apparent that much of his struggles were injury-related last season.
11 hours ago11 hr Done after 5IP and only 57 pitches. Don't know their plan, but at the rate he was going, he could have had a CG.
11 hours ago11 hr Of course Charlotte has SIX 950+ ops hitters in the early going...Replacing Acuna with Murray or Jacob Gonzalez might be the next move.Antonacci needs at least 2-3 months to get acclimated to LF.
11 hours ago11 hr Schultz was 95/97.Gave up Homer on a FB.Why would they be throwing Lucas Sims out there rather than W.Gonzalez???Pretty pathetic.Guess he's answering that right now in the negative...Ex Sox future star Greg Jones sighting. Edited 11 hours ago11 hr by caulfield12

10 hours ago10 hr Feel like Bergolla wasn't talked about much last year but he has really impressed the past month+Hitting .600 to start the year

Which could be good or bad. Nicky did put up a 4.5 WAR season, hit .300, stole 22 bases, played good defense. Bergolla makes a lot of contact but has only hit 1 HR in 1000+ PAs.
