Yeah, Tyskie and Zywiec dominate the market. Okocim. If you ever find yourself in a Polak bar, Jeszcze dwa (yesh-che dva) means two more.

It’s funny going to different Binny’s in different areas. The River Grove, Illinois Binny’s location near Belmont and Cumberland which is heavily populated with Polish and Ukrainians has stacks of the first three beers you listed. I’m sure they sell more of that stuff than their craft beers.

I always thought slivovitz was Serbian cuz Serbs introduced me to it in a home made version. You learn so much on soxtalk.

there are similar names/variants for it but its just plum brandy which is very popular (and potent) throughout south/central Europe and the Balkans

My family sent me home with a flask of plum brandy last time I visited. They also have vodka I haven't been able to find here. Flavored Finlandia? Delicious and deadly.

They have to just bite the bullet and send Quero down and find someone to catch with Romo. He seems to be getting worse

The best Vodka I’ve had was Polish, not Russian. It was yellow instead of clear but I can’t remember what brand it was.

I went to a wedding in Poland. They put a bottle of vodka on every table and they kill the thing toasting. They also have these sausage wagons in the corner with fucking salamis and s%*# hanging in the back. And you just wander up and eat a couple pieces of sausage, some zulc, get grabbed up to do a polka or two on the way back to your table. Get back, vodka shots. Jesus, I never drank that much vodka.

Dog booty cam coming out of the break

Before going to Polish supermarkets, I didn’t realize that they smoke damn near everything. I was looking for raw sausage to cook but everything is already smoked.

Funny story, was at a game at Oswego East last week. Noah’s name is nowhere to be seen on their single season/career stat leaderboard, but his sister is all over the list for softball.

these guys fucking suck.

How can you be a GM if you can’t scout talent?

Saw that. 🤣

I was waiting for the dude to scratch its bunghole by accident.

Imagine if it was like 85+ degrees for this game. Wet dog plus hot weather. What a stench…

Brooke had to ask around for the scouting report on Mike Trout?

Huh?

Ask for fresh. They all sell fresh and smoked. There's the Shop N Save at Devon and Nagle. they have dozens of different region's smoked sausage. All the soups and stuff. I'm pretty sure Niles Polish Deli on Milwaukee across from St. Adalbert's cemetery has fresh. Call them. They should sell fresh.

That's the way it generally works. Reggie Miller's sister was probably a better basketball player, and could have kicked his ass, too.
