Walked home to see my son had the game on…started cooking the tacos and guacamole and was making the spicy margarita just in time for Miggys homer!

I was thinking about the legend today when we won. Could picture the bombs he would drop celebrating an ole fashion victory over Cleveland!

Winner winner taco dinner

Not to be greedy but how about just taking 7 straight from Cleveland and putting these fuckers in our rear view mirror.

They never won consecutive 1 run games last season (3 times this year)

16-8 in 1 run games so far, so already more 1 run wins than all of 2025 (15-36)

This is also 9 home series Ws in a row after winning 9 total last year

Sequencing is weird even inter year but it sure helps that "luck" to be basically run neutral (-3) and in Sox' case they have allowed guys to eat big leads, so some of that is just noise. I think this is a legit a 500 or maybe 530 type team. They need to get healthy tho and add some pitching.

Might need Don Newcombe for that pen…

Meets the requirements for washed up. And a choker in his day too. It’ll only take three prospects. 😄Seriously don’t sell the ranch. This bunch has a window. Oh. Got a call from my Cubbies loving nephew. He went to the game. We’re catching on.

Burke understood the assignment. So did Newcomb.

Finish it tomorrow.

That game was old time White Sox baseball, Burke and Newcomb stepped up, good teams win games like that and we did. Sweep them today and hope the bats come to life.

I loved the defense, Colson makes it look so routine, what a stud. Vargas at first was picking it, and Romo throwing out a runner was the cherry on top.

Remember when we were all excited about the defense of that flop Moncada? Colson is so much better at two positions.

22-4 home stretch now

like 2010

Underrated team. One of those years where we'd have gotten in with an expanded wild card field. Like 2012 and 2006

Love the thought. I'd take the last one of the home series and hope to split the 4 game series in Cleveland. If you think their pitchers are tough here in Chicago wait til we're the ones on the road .

Would be nice to get a starter and 2 RP but that's a big ask. Not sure how JR is going to be looking at the big crowds and contention window and the Murakami resigning or who Getz will be willing to give up. He's been very clear about staying the course and building something stronger than a window opening a little earlier than we thought. It won't last very long if they can't get some of the young pitchers, who are not healthy and struggling, fit and ready to make major contributions.

If anyone is looking to play powerball think about 61 Did you see Burke's line ?
