Let's not forget this a team in the midst of a rebuild. The grind, the pressure, and the spotlight may be taking a toll on these young guys. They are in a slump for sure. They can't count on miracle come backs every night. To get the kind of consistency in the starting pitching, bullpen, and lineup day in and day out takes time. A buildup process. They have come a long way quickly but still have a way to go. Stay the course and may the window stay open for many years. Patience my friends.

You are spot on. The thing is that the division is so bad it’s there for the taking but the reality is our pitching probably isn’t good enough.

Boston has been hot the last few weeks. In both White Sox games, the Red sox got off to early leads and then expanded their leads. Boston got 2 straight games of good starting pitching on top of it so the White Sox took it on the nose. But Chicago has been able to to bounce back and the All-Star break after this weekend will give the team a chance to right the ship after the break.
