39 minutes ago39 min This had L written all over it before the game began'The forfeit lineup with Schulz on the mound..............This is a team slump......they haven't had a real one yet but maybe this is it. Plus you don't have seasoned managers or coaches either.
37 minutes ago37 min Ungodly pathetic.Tomorrow legit feels like the season is on the line. This team just looks absolutely out of it.Couldn't be more disappointed in the effort. Edited 36 minutes ago36 min by Dan of Steel
34 minutes ago34 min Interesting… Will saying in the post game that he went out “with urgency” while “forgetting there had already been a visit” because of an appeal play.Apparently he thought someone hadn’t touched a bag in the first.1.) If that was the case, couldn’t he have appealed directly to the umpire crew himself instead of going to the mound?2.) Wonder what would have happened today if that appeal was won and the game was 1-0 after the first. Probably still would have lost because Schultz looked like hot garbage today.

The next two days will be more important than any other we have seen all year… and you’re right… they aren’t coming into those games looking good AT ALL…But if there has been one thing that has defined this team for the majority of this season, it has been their ability to rise to the occasion when their backs are against the wall.Let’s see it again. If they are to go anywhere in the post season, we’ll need to see that fighting spirit more.

Only time all year I’ve seen him completely out of a game.Guess we should just chalk it up to the team getting into town at 5am. They’re human.

Just a total brain fart.
17 minutes ago17 min Getz refused to trade top prospects to improve THIS team. Was that a decision that JR made? What a stupid, short-sighted strategy.Next year is not guaranteed. Murakami could leave after next year anyway. So wait for Ishbia the savior for 5 years or so. He will have Roch, Bonemer and a few other guys in the Minors and his Private Equity Investment firm can leverage debt.

Shows how much we have been struggling and how much things would be different if we had been able to kick things into another gear.In one way we’re lucky to still be on the top of the Central… and in another way we should have a 6+ game lead with the pennant already in the bag.So frustrating… Urg… I need to fucking sleep until we win again.

4 minutes ago4 min The Press DemocratWhite Sox manager says he was calling for time, not motio...OAKLAND – Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen caused some unintentional confusion that threw off the network and had A’s manager Ken Macha fuming. As the A’s were trying to mount a come back from areminiscent of this. I remember the next day Ozzie duct taped L and R on both sides of his jacket.

Nice that we happen to be playing one of them… maybe…May the sprit of Ozzie lead them to a much needed and long overdue winner tomorrow!
